Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Phyllis Gale Hebert, 52, who died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Leighton and Nicholas Theriot, both of Kaplan; her father, Royal Hebert of Kaplan; her mother, Velva Jane Robicheaux of Franklin; her two grandchildren, Leighton Theriot II and Lundon Lougon; her four brothers, Richard James Hebert of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Roger Dale Hebert, Randall Gerard Hebert and Russell Jude Hebert, all of Kaplan: two stepbrothers, Scott Callahan of Dallas, Texas and Anthony Callahan of Evangeline; one stepsister, Tracy Broussard of Kaplan; and her maternal grandmother, Vernice Hebert of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Laures Hebert; and her maternal grandfather, Otis J. Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Thursday, December 16, from 8 a.m. until services.
