Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rene Louis Faulk, 79, who died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by one sister, Mary L. Pere and her husband J.B. of Kaplan; one brother, Mahlan Faulk and his wife, Joyce of Kaplan; one nephew; and eleven nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Faulk and the former Mable Langlinais; two sisters, Lou Duhon and Elaine Hebert; and three nephews, Deny Duhon, Glenn Hebert and Phil Prejean.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 9 a.m. until services. A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m.
