Rowena Breaux Duhon

August 17, 1919 — December 17, 2010

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Maurice honoring the life of Rowena Breaux Duhon, 91, who died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Duhon; son, Calvin Paul Duhon and wife Connie; daughter, Connie Marie Suire and husband Jules; two grandchildren, Kyle Duhon and wife Kalen, and Kayla Duhon; and two great grandchildren, Kameron Duhon and Kohen Duhon all of Maurice.

She was preceded in death by her parents Orther and Cecile Duhon Breaux; and a sister, Hortense Hernandez.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Monday, December 20, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
