Aubrey Joseph Blanchet

A Graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2006, at St. Paul Cemetery, honoring the life of Aubrey Joseph Blanchet, 79, who died Friday, December 22, 2006, at a New Iberia nursing home.
Deacon Chris Mouton officiated the service.
Mr. Blanchet is a retired Police Jury member for over 30 years; he also owned and operated Nu-Way Cleaners of Abbeville.
He is survived by his wife; Lorraine Clement Blanchet, one son; Larry Paul Blanchet and wife Sandra of Youngsville, a daughter; Brenda Blanchet Dupont of New Iberia, four grandchildren; Corey Dupont and Jamie Dupont both of New Iberia, and Joshua Blanchet and Brandi Dennis both of Youngsville, and a great grandchild; Madelynn Blanchet.
He was preceded in death by his father; Neveux Blanchet, mother; Azena Bertrand, and a son; Steven Blanchet.
The family would like to thank his caregiver Hazel Fevrejean who cared for him during his illness.
