Joseph “Vic” Henderson

August 19, 1948 — December 30, 2006

I have fought a good fight, an honorable fight. But, the battle was not mine to win.

Vic passed away at his home, December 30, 2006 at 8:03 p.m. He will be so terribly
missed by his wife, Cathy, two daughters, Raina H. Duck and her husband Chris, Vicki
H. Moore and her husband Kenneth. Six grandchildren, Chaz Stelly, Barrett Henderson, Claire, Cameron and Cassandra Duck and Landon Moore. His mother Mary Ethel Miller,
Stepfather, Darrell Miller. One sister Donna M Faulk and her spouse Don. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Valentine and Melanie Arabie and his
niece Heather R Faulk.
Vic loved hunting, fishing and laughing, which he enjoyed with numerous friends. He
especially cherished his friendships with the members of their hunting camp “Lumpyfart
Lodge”. Respecting his wishes arrangements will be private.
The family would like to acknowledge the entire staff at Dr. Mark Charbonnet’s office who went beyond their medical profession to assist them, and also to the staff of Hospice of Acadiana for their generosity and kindness. “Our sincere gratitude is heart felt.”
