Memorial
services will be held at 1 :00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at
Vincent Funeral Home honoring
the life of Emilie Mae Primeaux,
80, who died January 04, 2007
at Louisiana Extended Care
Hospital of Lafayette.
She will be laid to rest at
Abshire Cemetery with Reverend
William Blanda officiating the
services.
Emilie attended SLI now
University of Louisiana at
Lafayette. Upon leaving college
she was employed by the State
of Louisiana in the
unemployment office. Her
interest included music
especially Broadway, she also
enjoyed singing and writing short
stories and poems.
She is survived by two sons,
Russell K. "Butch" Cappel of
Dallas, Texas and Michael A.
Cappel of Boise, Idaho; three
daughters, Vicki D'Anne Cappel
of New Orleans, T. Jean Cappel
of Garland, Texas and Rob'n
Cappel of Rotterdam, Holland;
and one granddaughter, Yvonne
Alesia Cappel-Vickery of New
Orleans.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Gerard Primeaux
and the former Amedia Stelly;
three brothers, Alexandre "Man"
Primeaux, Henry Lee Primeaux
and Allen Primeaux; husband,
Leslie K. Cappel; and
companion, Sam Delcambre.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Wednesday, January 10th from
noon until time of services.
