Joseph Touchet

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2007 at an 11 :00 a.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Joseph V. "Joey" Touchet, Jr. , 50, who died January 09, 2007 .
He will be laid to rest at Miguez Cemetery in Delcambre with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
Joey was a very loving father, son and brother.
He is survived by his fiancee, Laura Hoffman of Suwanee, Georgia; one son, Christian Curtis Touchet of Alpharetta, Georgia; his mother, Adley Desormeaux Touchet of Abbeville; three brothers, Rodney Touchet and his wife Mary of Morrero, Wayne Touchet and his wife Liz of Abbeville and Jeffery Touchet and his wife Susan of Broussard; and two sisters, Wendy Parich and her husband Mike of New Iberia and Donna Fleming and her husband Floyd of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his father. Joseph Villy Touchet, Sr.; one brother, Anthony Touchet; and grandparents. Sevinier and Victoria Romero Touchet and Fernance and Sedia Dore Desormeaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Friday, January 12th from 11 :00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, January 13th from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
