Funeral services will be held Friday, January 19, 2007 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church honoring the life of Nolie Trahan Vincent, 94, who died January 17, 2007 at a local nursing home.
She will be laid to rest in St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.
She is survived by one son, Robley L. Vincent and his wife Jeanne of Mire; one brother, Isaac Trahan of Abbeville; one sister, Noamie T. Touchet of Youngsville; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Vincent, her parents, Demar Trahan and the former Agnes Broussard; one son, Dudley Joseph Vincent; one brother, Simar Trahan; and one sister, Agnes Desormeaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, January 18th from 11 :00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, January 19th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
