Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 in Vincent Funeral Home for Delta Menard Romero, 70, of Abbeville, who died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Vermilion Health Care in Nunez. Interment will be in St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Chris Mouton officiating. She is survived by two sons, Richard Keith Romero and Errol James Romero; three daughters, Joslin Cessac, Donna Romero, and Julie Romero; one brother, George Menard; two sisters, Helen Abshire and Bonnie Menard; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dallas Romero; father, Marcel Menard; mother, Loraina Milliman Menard; a grandson, Randy James Romero; two brothers, Robert Joseph Menard and Henry Paul Menard and one sister, Lee Alice Darby. The Family request visitation be observed at Vincent Funeral Home 209 South Saint Charles St. Abbeville, La., Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, January 29, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville is handling the arrangements.
