Funeral
services will be held Tuesday,
February 06, 2007 at a 2:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial at St.
Theresa Catholic Church
honoring the life of Ella "Bay"
Broussard Romero, 94, who died
February 04, 2007 at a local
nursing home.
She will be laid to rest in Our
Lady of Lourdes Cemetery -
Erath with Reverend Kenneth
Mayne officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Phillip
Bertrand, David Bertrand, Robert
Bertrand, Tony Romero,
Shannon Romero and Marty
Goutierrez.
She is survived by two sons,
Carroll Romero and his wife
Laura of Opelousas and Whitney
G. Romero and his wife Flo of
Henry; one daughter, Mary
Bertrand and her husband C.J.
of Abbeville; nine grandchildren;
seventeen great grandchildren;
and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Whitney
Romero; her parents, Luke
Broussard and the former Edith
Granger; one sister, Gladys
Denaise; and one brother, Dallas
Broussard.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Monday, February 5th from 2:00
p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary
to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Tuesday, February 6th from 8:00
a.m. until time of services.
