Stephanie P. Meaux

September 2, 1952 — February 5, 2007

Funeral services for Stephanie P. Meaux, 54, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Henry, LA. Father Mathew Mullamangalam and Father Joe Stemmann will concelebrate the funeral mass. Burial will follow in Bancker Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville on Wednesday, February 7th from 9:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with rosaries to be recited at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m; Thursday, February 8th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Stephanie was a native of Abbeville and a resident of Henry. She died on Monday, February 5, 2007 at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. She had been employed with the accounting firm of Darnall, Sikes, Gardes and Frederick. She loved reading, needlepointing and taking antique shopping trips with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Ricky J. Meaux; and her two beautiful sons, Jerod Michael and his wife Amanda of Henry, La. And Cody James of Lafayette, La. She is also survived by her mother, Eunice “Mim” Pullin of Abbeville and three brothers, Randall J. Hebert and his wife Renee of Lafayette, Claude S. Pullin, Jr. and his wife Cathy of the LeBlanc Community and Arthur “Lee” Pullin and his wife Becky of Coteau. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Sanders Pullin, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Randall J. Hebert, Claude S. Pullin, Jr., Arthur Pullin, Nicholas Pullin, Blake Pullin, and Brian Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be William Faciane, Jr. and Steve Meaux.
The family is grateful for the prayers and support offered by family, friends, and especially her church community.
