Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2007, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for Donna St. Amant, 48, of Maurice, who died Friday, February 9, 2007, at Lafayette General Hospital. Reverend Kevin Bordelon will officiate the service. She is survived by one son, Kindal J. Bourque of Opelousas; one daughter, Monique Lavergne of Butte LaRose; father, Joseph A. Bourque of Abbeville; one sister, Karen Broussard of Sunset; one sister in law, Michelle Bourque of Kansas City Missouri; three grandchildren, Cole Lavergne of Butte LaRose, Madison Bourque of Opelousas and Jacey Lavergne of Butte LaRose; and 23 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George St. Amant; mother Elvina St. Amant Bourque and one brother, Darrel J. Bourque. The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South Saint Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, February 11, 2007, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday February 12, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
