Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, honoring the life of Theodore LaSalle, 87 of Abbeville, who died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Abbeville General Hospital. Burial will be in Petry Cemetery in Meaux. He is survived by his wife Gladys Romero LaSalle; son, Thomas R. LaSalle of Forked Island; daughter, Gertie L. Thibodeaux of Abbeville; two brothers, John LaSalle of Kaplan and Vernis “Joe” LaSalle of Shreveport; two sisters, Edmay LaSalle Pesson of Bayou Vista and Erline Gaspard of Maurice; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Adam LaSalle; mother, Celestse Marceaux LaSalle; two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
