Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 at a 2:00 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Charles Lee LeBlanc, 81, who died February 13, 2007 at Maison Du Monde Assisted Living.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Kevin Bordelon officiating the services.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp who served our country during World War II. He was a retired postal worker with over forty years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Ernie Guidry and his wife Matsy and Everette J. "Tippy" Guidry and his wife Selena all of Abbeville; one daughter, Charlane Landry and her husband Joseph Brent of Abbeville; one brother, Eugene "Pot" LeBlanc of Friendswood, TX; one sister, Mary Virginia Lehr of Zwolle; twelve grandchildren; and thirty-two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Mae Broussard LeBlanc; two brothers, J.D. LeBlanc and Albert LeBlanc; and one sister, Marjorie LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, February 14th from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, February 15th from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
