Funeral
services will be held at 10:00
a.m. Tuesday, February 20,
2007 at Vincent Funeral Home
honoring the life of Vernon Alton
Winch, 84, who died February
19, 2007 at Abrom Kaplan
Memorial Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at
Pecan Island Community
Cemetery with Reverend John
Vining officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife,
Louise Mary Toups Winch of
Abbeville; two daughters, Rachel
Frederick and her husband Greg
and Sheila Winch and her friend
Glenn Vincent all of Abbeville;
one brother, Garland Winch and
his wife Jeanette of Pecan
Island; and four grandchildren,
Ryan Bourque of Abbeville,
Courtney Frederick of Abbeville,
Danny Winch of Leroy and Sara
Winch of Leroy.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Drozan Winch and
the former Magnolia Vincent;
one son, Lance Winch; and two
brothers, Sanders Winch and
Kenneth Winch.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Monday, February 19th from
5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.;
Tuesday, February 20th from
8:00 a.m. until time of service
