Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home honoring the life of Michael Lewis Carrera, 19, who died February 20, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Scott Crosby officiating the services. He is survived by his father, Gilberto Carrera; his mother, Teena Meadows Carrera; one brother, Gilberto Carrera; and grandparents, Jeanie and Troy Meadows. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilberto and Salvina Carrera. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, February 22nd from 11 :00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Friday, February 23rd from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
