Diann Neveu Demarcy

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 05, 2007 at a 10:00 a.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Magdalen Church honoring the life of Diann Neveu DeMarcy, 55, who died March 01, 2007 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Donald Theriot officiating the services. Diann was a bookkeeper and office manager at St. Mary Magdalen Church for more than twenty-five years. She was a member of the Lay Carmelites. She is survived by one son, Heath DeMarcy and his wife Amanda (Trahan); one daughter, Davelyn DeMarcy; her mother, Lily Mae Broussard Neveu; two brothers, Lavelle Neveu and his wife Karen and Michael Neveu and his wife Jan; and three grandchildren, Taylor DeMarcy, Blake DeMarcy and Etienne Picard; all of Abbeville. She was preceded in death by her father, Laurant Neveu; and grandparents, Ernest Broussard and the former Azilie Vice and James and Laurance Neveu. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, March 4th from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with rosaries to be prayed at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.; Monday March 5th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Diann DeMarcy’s memory to the St. Mary Magdalen Church Building Fund, Post Office Box 1507, Abbeville, LA 70511-1507.
