Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4th, 2007 at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Elodie Brasseux , 83, who died March 02, 2007 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Mausoleum with Father Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
She is survived by one sister Lucille Sherman Guidry of Abbeville, nieces, Wanda S. Simon, Dot S. LeBlanc, Janet Sakach, Janell Ford, Barbara Roberts, Edie Comeaux, Susan Clark and Laura Broussard; and nephews, Doyce Sherman, Roy Sherman, Davis Guidry, Rodney Sherman, Reed Sherman, Charles Sherman, Greg Sherman, Glen Comeaux, Tommy Comeaux, and Terry Comeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Brasseaux and her parents, Joseph Sherman and Euzide Menard Sherman; sisters, Editha Sherman, Margaret Guillory, Irene Comeaux; brothers, Ophe Sherman, Francis Sherman, West Sherman, Ophelias Sherman.
