Funeral services will be held at , Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church
honoring the life of Rickey James Ronsonet, 58. He will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery.
On Friday morning, March 2, 2007, Rickey James Ronsonet was called home by God Our Father after a
fITe in his home in Hampton, Virginia.
He was born in Virginia, he graduated from Kecoughtan High School and served in the Vietnam War in the
U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. Upon returning, he worked as a pipe fitter in the Hampton Roads area until
his death at age 58.
Rickey was and honored son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be remembered for his smile, and
light hearted spirit.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory in both Louisiana and Virginia: Roger Paul Ronsonet (brother),
Wade Allen Ronsonet (brother), Sister Judith Hebert o. Carmel (aunt), Donald Hebert (uncle), Barbara
Ronsonet (sister-in-law), Shaun Ronsonet (nephew) and his wife Tiffany Ronsonet, Christina Judith
Ronsonet (niece), and J'air Elijah Ronsonet (nephew), Abigail Elizabeth Ronsonet (niece), and Audrey
Marie Ronsonet (niece).
The family would like to recognize and thank the doctors and nurses in the bum unit at Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital for their caring hands and hearts through the family's difficult parting with Rickey. They
allowed his last moments in this world to be surrounded by his family member in love.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles,
Abbeville, Mondal' March 5th from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Tuesday, March 6 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
