A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00 pm Thursday, March 15 at St. Mary Magdalen
Catholic Church in Abbeville honoring the life ofEugenie Lynn Ann LeBlanc, 77, who died Tuesday,
March 13.
The family asks that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles St. in
Abbeville, from 9:00 am until the time of services.
Rosaries will be prayed at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm in her memory.
She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Calais officiating the services.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Broussard Bourgeois and husband Terry Bourgeois of Race land,
LA, Barbara Broussard Louviere and husband Gerald Louviere ofLewisville, TX; two sons, Bill Broussard
and wife Cindy Landry Broussard of Abbeville, LA, Jules Broussard and wife Marie Foret Broussard of
Crowley, LA; four granddaughters Lauren Broussard, Jessica Claire Bourgeois, Taylor Louviere and Emma
Louviere; eight grandsons, Brandon Broussard and wife Emily Theriot Broussard, Ryan Broussard, Heath
Broussard and wife Rani Primeaux Broussard, Jason Broussard, Andre Broussard, Joshua Broussard,
Jonathan Paul Bourgeois and Brennan Louviere.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie lna Boudreaux LeBlanc and J .S. "Bill" LeBlanc.
A 1947 graduate of Mount Carmel High School, she also attended Southwest Louisiana Institute. She was a
member of Our Lady of the Brown Scapular Lay Carmelite Community and a long-time parishioner of St.
Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Father Seelos Center, 2030
Constance Street, New Orleans, LA 70130, Mount Carmel Elementary Development Office, 405 Park
Avenue, Abbeville, LA 70510 or Vermilion Catholic High School Development Office, 425 Park Avenue,
Abbeville, LA 70510.
