Abrom Wayne Hargrave

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July  1, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Abrom Wayne Hargrave, 59, who died Friday, June 28, 2019 at Lafayette General Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Veronica Hargrave of Kaplan; five sons, Jace Abrom Hargrave and his wife, Shellie, Kyle Presley Hargrave and his wife, Andrea of Mouton Cove, Skyler Laine Hargrave and his wife, Courtney of Leroy, Tyler Garret Hargrave and his wife, Courtlyn of Kaplan, and Shyler James Hargrave of Kaplan; his stepdaughter, Aerial Ashley Touchet of Kaplan; grandchildren, Lexie Feverjean, Averi Hargrave, Taylor Feverjean, Kaelyn Feverjean, Rylan Miller, Mason Hargrave, Emma Hargrave, Liam Hargrave, Xander Touchet, Xane Touchet, Logan Hargrave, Hazel Hargrave, Colton Hargrave, Kodie Touchet, Landon Hargrave, and Paisley Touchet; two sisters, Barbara Hebert of Kaplan and Beatrice and her husband, Danny Gaspard of Forked Island; and two brothers, Joseph Curtis Hargrave, Jr. and his wife, Connie of Kaplan and Jody Hargrave of Forked Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Curtis Hargrave and the former Hilda Breaux; paternal grandparents, Arthur Hargrave, Sr. and the former Lillie Mae Pere'; maternal grandparents, Elie Breaux and the former Edita Touchet; his sister, Deborah Ann Hargrave; and his godmother, Gladys Breaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 10:45 AM on Monday, July 1, 2019 with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Sunday.
