Allie Leleaux Touchet

January 29, 1931 — July 4, 2021

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July  7, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Allie Leleaux Touchet, 90, who died Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery.

Allie Leleaux Touchet was born on January 29, 1931.  She married Minos Touchet on May 22, 1947.  They started their family and had a beautiful life together.  She and her husband owned and operated Touchet’s Mobile Home Park since 1984.  They had many tenants over the years which they considered extended family.

Allie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.  She was full of life and always had a smile on her face.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Touchet and his wife, Deena, and Darrell Touchet and his fiancée, Mayra; grandchildren, Nick Touchet and his wife, Maria, Cory Touchet and his wife, Jessica, Heather Broussard and her husband, Bubba, and Broc Touchet and his wife, Raelyn; sister, Dot Chauvin; brothers, Bill Leleaux, Rodney Leleaux, and Lawrence Leleaux; great grandchildren, Alex Touchet, Aidan Touchet, Kavan Broussard, Kealy Broussard, and a great granddaughter on the way, Sydnie Touchet; great-great grandson, Kash Peters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Minos Touchet; parents, Clopha Leleaux and Edolie Broussard; brother, Paul Leleaux; sister, Evelyn Morgan; and great grandson, Kalix Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Tuesday, July  6, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, July  7, 2021 from 8:00 AM until time of services.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana, especially Whitney, and her sitters, Joy Tribe and Brenda Pommier for their compassion and care.  And last, but certainly not least, the family would like to express the greatest gratitude to Maribel Laredo for being there since day one until Allie’s very last breath.  Maribel was like a daughter to Allie and is our very own angel on Earth.
