Andrew "Skip" Cormier

Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Andrew Cormier, 90, who died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Clint Trahan officiating the services.
He is survived by his two sons, Donald Cormier and his wife, Jessica of Gueydan and Wade Cormier and his wife, Linda of Gueydan; one daughter, Elwanda and her husband, Rayland Melancon of Gueydan; eight grandchildren, Kevin Cormier, Quinton Abshire, Daina Daigle, Danielle Cormier, Maegan Tran, Blaine Beard, Kaleb Beard, and Derrick Cormier; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Everna McGee Cormier; his parents, Alexson Cormier and the former Electa Guidry; four brothers; and two sisters.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Monday, April 16, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 12:45 PM when the procession departs for the church.
