Anita Ann Abshire

Kaplan—A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Anita Ann Abshire, 62, who died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at her residence.

She is survived by her daughter, Shayla Abshire Dupuis and her spouse, Crystal Dupuis of Rayne; her two grandchildren, Bryson and Dakota Abshire; her mother, Merdie Abshire of Kaplan; her two sisters, Junita and her husband, Robert Vincent of Iowa, and Mona and her husband, Ernie Fontenot of Carencro; her two brothers, Daryl Abshire and his wife, Scarlett of Schriever, and Francis Abshire, Jr. and his wife, Lou of Kaplan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Abshire, Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM.
