Anna Marie Meaux Cessac

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Anna Marie Meaux Cessac, 69, who died Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.  She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Deacon Keith Duhon officiating the services.

Anna worked many years as a cook at the Eastridge Nursing Home and ABL Bingo Hall. She enjoyed her family dearly and will surely be missed.

She is survived by her son, Logan S. Cessac (Roxann); daughter in law Eve Cessac grandchildren, Gabriel, Zoe, Johnpaul, Alyssa, and Gage Cessac, and Nathan Touchet; great grandchildren, Jordyn James Levy; godchildren, Regina Baldwin (Robert), Gilliam Hebert, and Heidi Becker; one brother, Lester T. Meaux (Cheryl); two sisters, Merline M. Delahoussaye and Betty R. Meaux (Randy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery P. Cessac; son, Thomas Paul Cessac; parents, Thomas Meaux and the former Leona Romero, twin daughters, Angelle and Angelic Cessac; granddaughter, Faith Cessac; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Delahoussaye.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM.
