Anna Vincent

Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church honoring the life of Anna Vincent, 91, who died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Hanks Cemetery with Reverend  Neil Pettit officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Bufford Vincent of Lafayette; one daughter, Elaine Olivier of Crowley; 14 grandchildren, Keith Olivier, Brandon Olivier, Tyler Olivier, Michelle Corona, Randy Leger, Bridget Vincent, Donna Hanks, Ramona Vincent, Jason Vincent, Brent Vincent, Chad Vincent, Wanda Vincent, Alton Vincent and Amy Vincent; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Vincent; two sons, Calvin Vincent and Kenneth Vincent; one daughter, Gloria Leger; two brothers, Cebra Guidry and Mabry Sonnier; three sisters, Mabel Morine, Hilda Broussard, Dorothy Mae Davis; her parents, Charley Sonnier and the former Inez Boudreaux; three grandchildren, Melissa Olivier, Barry Leger and Mona Vincent; and two great grandchildren, Bradley Cormier and Bryson Olivier.

The family would like to thank Bridget Boudreaux and Michelle Pinson and Hope Hospice for their care and compassion.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 10:30 AM.
