Abbeville- A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 01, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Annie Bell Richard, 90, who passed away on November 29, 2024 at The Vermilion At East Ridge.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville on Sunday, December 01, 2024, from 9:00 AM until time of service. Pastor Scott Crosby will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Richard, Brock Bonin, Nathaniel Davenport, Jerod Bonin, Dominic Russo, and Aaron Vaughan.

She is survived by her four children, Charlotte R. Hebert and husband John Hebert, Jr. of Youngsville, Jackie R. Klein and husband Greg of Lafayette, Neal Richard and wife Kelly of Abbeville, and Felecia R. Bonin and husband Jerod of Jennings; three sisters, Adelena Sharpton, Alma Minzenmayer, and Velta Baxley; sister-in-law, Joyce Richard; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Claude Vaughan; mother, Eva Hardin Vaughan; husband, Otis Richard; siblings, Rufus Vaughan, Wilfred Vaughan, Alberta Lou Vaughan, Melva Dummitt, and Wilda Mae Romero.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Trisha Bourque, Carmen Romero, and staff at The Vermilion at Eastridge, Audubon Hospice and Tammy Abshire.
