Audrey Mae Guidry Romero

Abbeville— A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday May 9, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Audrey Mae Guidry Romero, 71, who died Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Deacon Francis Cao will officiate the service.

Audrey Mae enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family. She was a beautiful soul that would brighten up the darkest room. Audrey Mae was a devout Christian and lived her life by the word of the Lord.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph “Joe” Romero; daughter, Rhonda L. Remedies (Andy); sons, Brandon J. Romero (Anjali), Clyde H. Romero, and Shane A. Clark (Pam); twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild on the way; sisters, Lilly Sonnier (Lloyton), Barbara LeBlanc (Milton), and Rusty Taylor (Joe); and her brother, Darrell Guidry (Karen).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector Guidry and Jeanne DeJean Guidry; son,  Michael J. Romero; sisters, Shirley McBride, Jackie Ortiz, Patricia Folk, and Betty Mouton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM and continue until 8:00 PM. A rosary being prayed at 2:30 PM by her brother, Darrell Guidry.
