August Jai Smith

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of August Jai Smith, who passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Jesus and Abigail Smith of Abbeville; his maternal grandparents, Kevin and Maria G. Dartez of Abbeville; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marcelite Hopkins and Eric Joseph Smith of Kaplan; his great grandparents, Maria Jimez Hernandez of Fresnillo, Mexico, Joseph Roy of Delcambre and Irene Meaux of Kaplan; his aunts, Raven, Dana, Reca and Tina; his uncles, Brooks, Daniel, Grettney, James and Jeremy; and a host of cousins and other family members.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.
