Azelie L. Touchet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Azelie L. Touchet, 79, who died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Abbeville General Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Kyle Coates officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Fredess Touchet (Betty) of Nunez and Wilbert Joseph Touchet, Jr. of Nunez; and two daughters, Linda Touchet (Tommy) of Abbeville and Annette Touchet of Kaplan; her 16 grandchildren; her 31 great -grandchildren; and her brother, Alwood Langlinais (Earlene) of Nunez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wilbert Touchet; her parents, Andrew Langlinais and the former Ophlia Suire; and her two sons, Iry Touchet and Mike Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 9:45 AM.
