Barbara S. Roy

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Barbara St. Julien Roy, 73, who died Monday, September 17, 2018 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at the Kaplan Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Pastor Dudley Thibeaux, Jr. of Seed Of Faith Evangelistic Outreach Ministry in Houston, TX.

She is survived by one daughter, Cordelia Roy of Kaplan; one daughter-in-law, Veronica Roy of Detroit, MI; one sister, Leona St. Julien of Kaplan; two brothers, George St. Julien and his wife, Caroline of Kaplan and Dewey St. Julien and his wife, Mary of Kaplan; nine grandchildren, Mallory Lewis, Vallery Landry, Jennifer Gibson, Erin Achane, Jade Mouton, Robert Roy, Christopher Roy, Joseph Roy, and Jacolby Roy; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wallace Eugene "Jerry" Roy; her parents, Wallace St. Julien and the former Zella Chargois; and one sister, Lillian Allen.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the services.
