Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Bart James Theriot, 62, who died Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

Bart served as owner and president of Flow Petroleum Services in Lafayette for 22 years before retiring to New Orleans in 2016 where he spent his recent years enjoying time with family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Tabor Theriot and his partner, Dustin Pownall of New Orleans; one daughter, Colin Brea Theriot Hanover and her husband, Peter of Gueydan; two grandchildren, Henry Roland Hanover and Fern Marie Hanover of Gueydan; one sister, Annette Theriot of Lafayette; and three brothers, Edwin Theriot of New Orleans, Robert Theriot and his wife, Nona of Gueydan and Chris Theriot and his wife, Stella of Gueydan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia LeJeune Theriot; three brothers, Wilton Theriot, Jr., Russell Theriot and Bret Theriot; and his parents, Wilton James Theriot and the former Kathleen Porter.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the services at 11:00 AM.
