Benjamin Avery Abshire

Kaplan—Memorial services officiated by Reverend Ted Broussard will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Benjamin Avery Abshire, 47, who died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at MD Anderson Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Maria Doucet Abshire of Kaplan; one son, Alan Richard and his wife, Sierra and their children, Presley and Brinley; one daughter, Taylor M. Abshire; his parents, Lonnie Abshire and the former Jane McDonald; two sisters, Jennifer and her husband, Darryl Senia and Jeanne Abshire; and one brother, Lonnie Isget.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Avery Abshire and the former Theresa Gaspard; and his maternal grandparents, James Byron McDonald and the former Marcelle Tubb.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
