Bernadean Cormier Leger

Leroy—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church honoring the life of Bernadean Cormier Leger, 80, who died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery with Reverend Paul Bienvenu officiating the services.

To know MawMaw is to love MawMaw.  She was our angel on earth. We are forever grateful for her comforting words, her joyful presence, and her home cooked meals. She was and is so incredibly proud of the family she and PawPaw created. There's not a day that goes by that we don't thank God for blessing our lives with such a flawlessly amazing woman. We will forever cherish our memories with her and continue to strive to be half of the human she was. We love you forever and ever MawMaw, thank you for everything you have done.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth C. Leger; three sons, Troy Leger of Maurice, Todd Leger and his wife, Nancy of Kaplan, and Thad Leger of Leroy; and four grandchildren, Chase, Hunter, Haley and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Asa Cormier and the former Willa Broussard; granddaughter, Shanna Catherine Leger; and numerous aunts and uncles.
