Bernice Lebouef Hebert

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024  at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary Bernice LeBouef Hebert, 95, who died Monday, April 8, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Lane Frederick, Troy Hebert, Luke Hebert, Toby Hebert, Coy Miller, and B.J. Dupuis. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin LeBouef, Craig Frederick, and Buck Hebert. Lectors for the Mass will be Victoria Frederick and Donna Hebert. Jill Gaspard, Samantha Simoneaux, and Carly Hebert will be gift bearers at the Mass.

She is survived by her three daughters, Janice Meaux, Donna Hebert, and Carleen Frederick and her husband, Craig; daughter-in-law, Elaine Hebert; brother, Calvin LeBouef and his wife, Lorraine; sister-in-law, Mary LeBouef; grandchildren, Troy Hebert (Natalie), Toby Hebert (Dawn), Samantha Simoneaux Dupuis, Nicole Steen, Coy Millier (Natalie), Jill Gaspard, Chet Miller, Victoria Frederick, and Lane Frederick; and several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine LeBouef and the former Louise Richard; husband, Clarence Hebert; son, Lenis Hebert; grandson, Timmy Hebert; great grandson, Jadd Gaspard; brother, Emile LeBouef; sister, Melba Frederick; and son-in-law, Earl Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 12:45 PM when the procession will depart for the church.
