Bernie Hebert

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Bernie Hebert, 63, who died Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Ochsner University Hospital and Clinics.  She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating the services.

Bernie had a love for all animals, especially her dogs, Max, Lulu Oreo and Tiny and her cats, Boots and Smokey. She also loved all the stray cats and possums.

She is survived by a very special friend, Mary Faulk; her brothers, Michael Lejeune and his wife, Lynn and Alvin Lejeune and his companion Betty; her nieces and nephews, Hope Vaughn, Tessa Pilgrim, Paige Ardoin and Chad Lejeune; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a special little lady, Lyra Faulk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Marie Viator and Arthur Lejeune; her siblings, Anthony Lejeune, Liz Pilgrim, Yvette Ardoin, Angela Lejeune and Darren Lejeune.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
