Affectionately known as Maw Maw B, she loved spending time with her family. She was a very creative woman, sewing costumes and overseeing numerous craft projects with her grandchildren and great grandchildren that brought everyone great joy and unforgettable memories. Maw Maw B was like a box of chocolates, never knowing what you were going to get, whether it was a homemade game or a cousin’s hayride, she always made it fun for the kids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her five children, Ann Katherine James and her husband, Paul, Norma Joetta Mire and her husband, Kerry, Don Randall Mouton and his wife, Darlene, Bethany Lois LeBlanc and her husband, Roger, Lois Ann Melancon and her husband, Greg; eight grandchildren, Amanda LeMaire, Jacob Herpin, Chad Mire, Jamie Mouton, Ryan Mouton, Misty Gaspard, Matt LeBlanc and Mollie Melancon; 17 great grandchildren, Colette and Chloe LeMaire, Presli, Tyler, Ella, Tessa and John Herpin, Cole, Jack and Stella Mire, Lacie and Lexie Toups, Layne and Nathan Mouton, Zoe, Kyleigh and Graham LeBlanc.

Many years ago she made the decision to donate her body to science and didn’t want any services to be held. In keeping with her wishes, her legacy will move on through research and the educating of future physicians.
The family would like to thank Vermilion Healthcare Center and Heart of Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they have shown her and the family throughout this difficult time.
