Brenda Istre Fruge

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Brenda Istre Fruge, 63, who died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.  She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services.

She is survived by her two daughters, Heather and her husband, Kevin Cormier of Gueydan and Bonnie and her husband, Casey Monceaux of Meaux; her four grandchildren, Katherine Cormier, Hannah Monceaux, Isabella Monceaux, and Tommy Monceaux; her mother, Joyce Istre of Kaplan; her sister Peggy and her husband, Lloyd Suire of Gueydan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Istre; and her former spouse, Lawless Fruge.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, December 20, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.
