Brenda Gail Neveaux Fisher

Abbeville—Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 23, 2024 at St. Paul Cemetery honoring the life of Brenda Gail Neveaux Fisher, 72, who died Friday, August 9, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Brenda was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children/grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grana.

Brenda was a 1970 graduate of Abbeville High School.  She worked at Columbia Gulf where she met her husband, John, and retired as a business manager for The Independent Weekly Newspaper in Lafayette. Some of her fondest memories were from trips traveling around the country to see their son Chris' college football games, as well as traveling to visit John's family in Tennessee every year. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her son, Hugh Christopher Fisher (married to Jana Fisher); daughter, Natalee Fisher Rosso (married to Seth Rosso); grandchildren, Owens, Colton, & Landon; and siblings Bobby Neveaux and Tina Sellers (married to Keith).

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hugh Fisher; and parents, Curley Paul Neveaux and the former Mary Jane Richard.
