Brenda Stelly Guidry

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April  8, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Brenda Guidry, 69, who died Saturday, April 3, 2021 at University Hospital and Clinics.  She will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Deacon Bryan Istre officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Scotty Guidry and his wife, Marti of Cow Island and Conrad Guidry and his wife, Anita of Forked Island; her daughter, Sue Abshire and her husband, Ricky of Forked Island; her seven grandchildren, Kenneth Guidry and his wife, Kyla, Tanner Pugh, Conrad Guidry, Jr., Ricky Abshire, Jr., Gracie Guidry, Hiliana Guidry and Zaylen Guidry; her three sisters, Betty Cormier and her husband, Stanley of Forked Island, Faye Stelly and her companion Wade Montgomery of Forked Island and Sarah Guidry and her husband, Ronald of Shelbyville, TX; and her three brothers, Ravis Stelly and his wife, Penny of Cow Island, Sandrus Stelly and his wife, Delores of Forked Island and Hildrie Stelly, Jr. and his wife, Charlotte of Forked Island.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Guidry; her son, Kenneth Guidry; her parents, Hildrie Stelly, Sr. and the former Lula Mae Richard; and her three brothers, Warren, Norman and Aladdin Stelly.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, April  7, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, April  8, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.
