Bridget Broussard

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 26, 2024 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Bridget Broussard, 68, who passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Paul Broussard officiating the services.  Pallbearers will be Jared Broussard, Nicholas Broussard, Marcus Broussard, Christopher Broussard, Brice Menard, and Ethan Menard.

She is survived by her siblings, Johnie Broussard and his wife, Wanda of Kaplan, Audrey “Anne” Broussard of Abbeville, Genevieve Broussard of Lafayette, Timothy Broussard and his wife, Gwen of Abbeville, Peter Broussard of Meaux, Mary Menard and her husband, Scott of Abbeville, Theresa Winch and her husband, Luther of Montgomery, TX, and Father Paul Broussard of Abbeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Huey Broussard and the former Lula Mae Bergeron; and brother, John Keith Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary being prayed at 9:00 AM.
