Brittany Jane Cormier

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Brittany Jane Cormier, 34, who died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery with Deacon Cody Miller officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Beaux Cormier, Stanley Cormier, Eddie Mire, Lursie Bourque, Bradley Peltier, and Willie Cormier. Honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin McBride and Andy McBride.

She is survived by her companion, Donvan Martin of Montegut; two sons, Benjamin McBride of Parks and Andy McBride of Parks; one daughter, Chelsie Bourque of Montegut; her father, Stanley Joseph Cormier and stepmother, Betty of Abbeville; her mother, Sarah Mire and stepfather, Eddie of Abbeville; one brother, Beaux Cormier and his fiancee, Kourtney Pigron of Maurice; three stepchildren, DJ Martin, Victoria Dehart, and Destiny Martin; her nieces, Keiara, Kylie, Evelyn, and Ella Mae; her paternal grandfather, Elzie Cormier of Lake Charles; and her maternal grandfather, Lorgie Peltier of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Benji Cormier; her paternal grandmother, Edna Cormier; her maternal grandmother, Eunice Broussard; and her uncle, Mark Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 10:00 AM.
