Calise "Peanut" Bourque

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Calise “Peanut”  Bourque, 62, who died Monday, February 14, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating the services.

He is survived by his long-time companion, Della Mae Touchet; his four sons, Jesse Bourque, Joshua Touchet and his wife, Shelbie, Joseph Touchet and his wife, Justine and Jason Touchet and his wife, Cindy; his four sisters, Lilly Gaspard, Rachel Guidry, Peggy Kern and Barbara Guidry; his four brothers, Kenneth Abshire, Wesley Bourque, John Bourque and Daniel Bourque; and his 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Adam Bourque; his parents, Jean Bourque and the former Annie Abshire; and his sister, Gleada Primeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
