Carla Renee Johnnie

Kaplan—Graveside services were held at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery honoring the life of Carla Renee Johnnie, 57, who died Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Abbeville General Hospital, with Reverend Peter Williams officiating the services.

She is survived by her four sisters, Joyce Brown of Houston, Sandra Wise of Kaplan, Sally Johnnie Cornelio of Kaplan, and Janis Rutland of Kaplan; and two brothers, Patrick Johnnie, Sr. (Rosa) of Lafayette, and Douglas Johnnie (Leona) of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Moses Johnnie, Sr. and the former Gertie Dugas; brother, Moses Johnnie, Jr.; three sisters, Sharon Williams, Geneva Johnnie, and Julie Johnnie; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Brown and Marciano Cornelio.
