Carol Badon

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Gueydan First United Methodist Church honoring the life of Carol Badon, 74, who died on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend John Krause officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Badon of Gueydan; one son, Joel Badon and his wife, Cassie of Gueydan; one daughter, Melanie Abshire of Gueydan; two sisters, Elizabeth Gillentine of Crowley and Betty Meaux of Gueydan; one brother, Donald Meaux of Gueydan; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oneidas Meaux and the former Velma Hoffpauir; and her son-in-law, Michael J. Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 8:00 AM until services.
