Carol Lee Thibodeaux

Cow Island—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Carol Lee Thibodeaux, 57, who died Wednesday, October 9, 2019.  He will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derick Harrington, Gage Stelly, Mike Nunez, Josh Schexnayder, Kendall Granger, and Wilton Harrington. Kade Abshire and Dewey Arcement will serve as honorary pallbearers.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lella "Marie" Thibodeaux of Kaplan; his two sisters, Gloria Schexnayder of Kaplan and Faye Thibodeaux of Crowley; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Schexnayder, Todd Schexnayder, Laura Broadway, Derick Harrington, Brady Harrington, Mike Nunez, Megan Flory and Gage Stelly; and his great nieces and nephews, McKenzie Schexnayder, Brayden Schexnayder, Grayson Harrington, Colton Nunez, and Vella Nunez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oudly Thibodeaux and the former Hazel Credeur; and one brother, Floyd Smith.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, October 11, 2019 from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM when the procession departs for the church.
