Carrie Marie D'Augereau

Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Carrie "Marie" d'Augereau, 69, who passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.  She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Deacon William Vincent officiating the services.

Marie enjoyed working in her garden, cultivating her plants with love. Her love blossomed out into her community by helping those in need around her. But her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Marshall Wayne Romero and his wife, Melissa; one grandson, Aiden Romero; sister, Laurence “Sis” Faye Gondron; and brothers, Martial James d'Augereau and his wife, Betty, and Michael "Mickey" Wayne d'Augereau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren P. d'Augereau and the former Carrie Marie LeMaire; and brothers, Alfred Paul d'Augereau and Warren “Jimmy” d'Augereau.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 9:30 AM until time of service, with a rosary at 1:30 PM.
