Carrie "Pete" Doucet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October  4, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Carrie “Pete” Doucet, 79, who died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at The Guest House.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.

She is survived by her three daughters, Rose Comeaux and her husband, William of Moss Bluff, Lisa Carline and her husband, Troy of Prairieville and Ellen Doucet of Nashville, TN; her four grandchildren, Phillip Comeaux, Holly Comeaux, Camille Carline and Colleen Carline; her sister, Ruth Broussard of Kaplan; and her brother, George LeMaire and his wife, Terry of Sacramento, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Doucet; her grand-daughter, Claire Carline; her parents, Senua LeMaire, Sr. and the former Lenore Gaspard; her adoptive parents, Jules Eleazar and the former Rosa LeBlanc; her two sisters, Emmeline Menard and Henritta Landry; and her four brothers, Senua LeMaire, Jr., Jules Eleazer, Jr., Allie Eleazar and Henry Eleazar.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, October  4, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM with a rosary being prayed at 9:30 AM.
