Catherine Gail Miller

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday , September 01, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Catherine Gail Miller, 48, who died Monday, August 23, 2021.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Deacon Bryan Istre officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Randy Miller, Sr. of Kaplan; her two sons, Randy Miller, Jr. and his wife, Brittany of Rayne and Allen Miller and his wife, Casey of Duson; her daughter, Ashley Guidry and her husband, Samuel of Kaplan; her six grandchildren, Katelynn, Raelynn, Landon, Brylee, Raegan and Astro;  her five sisters, Theresa Comeaux and her husband, Richard of Duson, Sondra Cormier and her husband, Brad of Maurice, Tina Stelly of Maurice, Sarah Alvarez and her husband, Rene of Kaplan and Nicole Abshire of Kaplan; and her four brothers, Dwayne Abshire and his wife, Brenda of Kaplan, Wilvern Abshire, Jr. of Kaplan, James Abshire, Sr. of Kaplan and Rickey Abshire and his wife, Sue of Forked Island.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilvern Abshire and the former Eunice Mary Turner.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, September 01, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
