Cecile "Louella" Boutin

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at   2:00 PM  on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Cecile “Louella” Boutin , 90, who died Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Eastridge Nursing Center.   She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Boutin officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Willis Boutin and his wife, Patty of Erath and Joseph Boutin and his wife, Gelaine of Kaplan; her three daughters, Charlotte Bourque and her husband, Don of Meaux, Paulette Ann Boutin of Erath and Keri Alhashash and her husband, Abdell of Springhill; her 12 grandchildren, Angie, Jason, Cobi, Kodi, Alisha, Aaron, Hailey, Jess, Andrew, Joey, Marym and Amirah; her 15 great grandchildren; and her sister, Lillian Trahan of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Murphy Boutin, Sr.; her son, Murphy Boutin, Jr.; her parents, Gaston Landry and the former Elodie Landry; her four brothers, Dalton, Eldis, Paul Lersey and Thomas Landry; her four sisters, Yola Landry, Eula Mae Landry, Alice Monic and Elgine Simon; and her great grandson, Jeffrey Harrington.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from   5:00 PM  until 8:00 PM ; Monday, May 22, 2023 from  10:00 AM  until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
